Bush being called a war criminal at the July 4th celebration at Monticello. He states he believes in freedom of speech, as the people are being led away and prevented from voicing their opinion. 6 more months and the hypocrisy finally ends.
Except that there's a difference between speaking your thoughts and being a disturbance. One is repectable and one makes you an ass.
Of course, whether they judge you as a "disturbance" or not usually depends on what you're saying, not just the manner in which it is said. Freedom of speech only exists for those who own the press or the venue of the meeting. You're free to say whatever you want in the privacy of your own home.

Putting a hand on a private citizen is not a security problem. The real purpose of protection is to get the subject in and out, and if things get out of hand you get them the hell out.
Most of the time when a cop takes some one like that away it's because they have superiors there and they have to follow the orders, but they should not make an ass out of themselves.
I would suggest to all of you dissenters out there to make well designed signs, and sing a song. Do not yell out any thing. Because Songs usually make the crowd you are with sing along, and they cant stop a crowd, that is together.

Switch it around. Imagine Obama or Ron Paul on the podium and some right winger disrupts his speech. I imagine you would be glad to have that person escorted out.

In light of this failure of legal due process, and in light of the fact the media has time and time again being shown to be either controlled or at the very least influenced to a varying degree by top executives, corporate financiers, and the government; all the while being hemmed into reporting mainstream opinion in the fear that viewers, confronted by opinions too radical and progressive for them to be willing to cognitively process or too complex to be sufficiently elaborated on between commercial breaks, will forsake them for another news organization that merely reinforced their bigoted and one-sided views filtered through a sieve of anaesthetising political correctness - as a result encroaching on their precious ratings, market share and advertising revenue.
Given this, I am very much beyond the idealistic notion of propriety in expressing opinions. As garish, frankly immature it comes off, and as much as it may ultimately damage their cause and credulity, if getting simplistic sound bites of emphatic disapproval across for split seconds on network television, the unfortunate major source of information of this age is one of the few ways you can get the honest goddamn truth across, than so be it.
I could care less, personally. My voters card says I'm a republican, but the last time they called to ask what I thought of the Border fence in Arizona, I told them to "Never Ever Call me again, you assholes", and no I think your fence is not going to stop any one except me when my football goes over it.

If its not appropriate to dissent in a political forum where is it? Your democracy is an illusion, there are no political forums where the people actually have a real say in politics. That is what democracy is all about, not just one stupid vote.
The people that first rebelled against England in your country certainly disturbed the political visits of English royalty... To dispel dissent is to dispel the foundations of the country and the freedoms you now enjoy.
Forum: an assembly, meeting place, television program, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest.
