Let's have some political variety (Election08 Talk Post)

There are Republicans I respect and admire, but most of them are either dead/retired (Lincoln, Nixon, Bush I) or never on the airwaves (Olympia Snowe). Most GOP supporters on TV now are idiots or liars, or just mundane enough that their videos wouldn't be sifted.

Yes, the Lies channel and its friends are dominated by Republicans, but I welcome any videos of lying Democrats.

Ron Paul on the Dollar: Given 1 Minute to speak: Bailout USD

I supported Ron Paul, I respect Ron Paul, but I don't trust Ron Paul. The only real Messianic figure in this election has been Ron Paul, who is assumed to be the sole arbiter of truth in this corrupt and terrible world.

I enjoy his views on civil liberties and the Iraq War, but if I were asked to choose between Paul and Obama or even Paul and Hillary, I would not pick Paul.

I Can't Vote For Obama OR McCain (Blog Entry by swampgirl)

I think that the past year and several months have shown that Obama knows what he is doing and can competently execute his goals and set forth a compelling agenda. No one else in presidential election history has created such a detailed list of policy proposals, and he beat the Clintons.

Running a campaign is of course not the same as running a country, but Obama's is one of the most flawlessly executed in history.

My belief is that everything must be done to stop McCain from taking over the country and possibly declaring war on Iran and Russia. His foreign policy belligerence is what keeps me up at night worrying. We can't risk his presidency at all.

If McCain wins, I'd recommend Tibet. Sure, the oxygen is scarce and soldiers patrol the streets with AKs, but at least it's a high plateau that will be the last place to sink under the new Panaqua Ocean. Plus, yak meat is tasty.
