Hola, my SoCal brethren. I know there are a number of us who live here in the southern parts of California, and I know Lucky McLuckster had mentioned doing a SoCal Sift-up at some point. Well, who's down for that? Who's in the area? Let's get some Sifter positions so we can find a decent middle ground for the meet up.

Wait - I where in SoCal are we talking? I googled Brentwood, and it was like, 11 hours away. Then I googled orange country, CA and that was only 5 hours - which is way more doable than 11.

So, assuming that list of 6 is all who intends to participate, where/when do you blokes want to meet? I think LA County sounds like a good general location, but as east and south as we can get so it's as near Arizona and San Diego as possible (without putting ourselves in danger of a car jacking). Anyone know a good spot? How is a Saturday in November? Perhaps Nov 8?

There's also Red Lion Tavern, which is way smaller than "Billiards", but has its charm. It's rustic and fun. I had my one of my weekend long 30th B-Day Parties there.
I piked these two spots because they're as east as you can get in LA without it getting sketchy or some place I think can manage our needs for a Sift-Up. Unfortunately both of them are a bit further north for those of you coming from San Diego, but take it from me, south and east is not a place you want to be. South and west? Yes. East and north? Yes. East and south? Fuck no.

I'm gonna show my age, but I remember the original Hollywood Billards from the 80's and it was sketchy and super awesome, looked like it was a set for "The Color Of Money", my vote is for the Red Lion Inn local bar feel and girls walking around in Gausthaus attire!
Red Lion Inn sounds great, but the billiard also sounds like fun. I guess I'd lean to the latter, but I'm fine with whatever the majority prefers.

At a guess, I think Red Lion is a restaurant (because it serves food), so anyone may be permitted. Any of you who are familiar with it, is that right or is it 21 and over only?
