You all seem to be missing something. I don't think the loader car is used as the ONLY way to get on or off. Just used when less than X number of people want to get on and off. If more than a loader's worth of people want to get on or off, the main train would stop because then it would WORTH STOPPING. Having the entire train stop for 2 or 9 or 23 people to get on or off is a waste. The loader car would have an abitrary capacity that if exceeded would be economical for the entire train to stop. The train would have slowed down entering the station for safety anyway. Maybe down to 120km/h from it's crusing speed of 300 km/h.

Summary

Food palatability and hedonic value play central roles in nutrient intake. However, postingestive effects can influence food preferences independently of palatability, although the neurobiological bases of such mechanisms remain poorly understood. Of central interest is whether the same brain reward circuitry that is responsive to palatable rewards also encodes metabolic value independently of taste signaling. Here we show that trpm5−/− mice, which lack the cellular machinery required for sweet taste transduction, can develop a robust preference for sucrose solutions based solely on caloric content. Sucrose intake induced dopamine release in the ventral striatum of these sweet-blind mice, a pattern usually associated with receipt of palatable rewards. Furthermore, single neurons in this same ventral striatal region showed increased sensitivity to caloric intake even in the absence of gustatory inputs. Our findings suggest that calorie-rich nutrients can directly influence brain reward circuits that control food intake independently of palatability or functional taste transduction.

This guys description of that advantage of DSL over cable modem is whacked. You have no idea how the telco/isp hauls your stuff back to their place. If your DSL connects to a trailer 1.x miles up the road and is aggregated with other signals competing for the same connection back to the source, well? You cannot judge the two end access methods unless you know how each one gets back to the big fat pipe.

Ive spent several hours into this program already. Awesome stuff if your into astronomy. Fun to just set up the solar system model and let loose an incoming rogue star several times the mass of the sun. And see what happens when gravity starts tuggin away.
